As most of the countries are under the quarantine to help reduce the spreading of the novel COVID-19 virus that conquered the globe, many institutions including art museums and galleries have been temporarily closed.
Major ones like the Guggenheim, MoMA, The Louvre and many more now offer public access to some of the world’s most preeminent art collections virtually. Partnering with more than 500 art institutions, Google Arts & Culture made sure art enthusiasts wouldn’t suffer the fear of missing out while being stuck in self-isolation, from Seoul’s National Folk Museum of Korea to New York’s MoMA to The Palace of Versailles included in the database with high-resolution images provided along with detailed excerpts surrounding plethora of pieces.
